“We are a tiny college, with very limited resources, but a college that believes when God works, he often begins with small packages,” remarked President Crouch.

Georgetown College was fortunate to play host to the former President Bush on Friday, learning much about the traffic difficulties in Philadelphia, the unifying characteristics of the game of golf and the desire of the former President to challenge current Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin to a quick round on the links. Though the former President only spoke for a few minutes, he displayed an eloquence that seemed to have been lost on other presidents with the last name Bush.

I was moving around in the crowd of people, displaying my school spirit in a bright orange dress and a gigantic media pass. I was trying to give the impression that I knew what it meant to be in a position of leadership, and I even continued to smile after my shoulders were getting a little burned and my feet were getting a little blistered from my “grown-up” shoes.

New exhibit aims to capture the anxiety and uncertainty of society amidst war

By ERIK LANHAM, Staff Writer

The eyes stare at you as you admire the sheer beauty of the artwork. They peer into your soul, tearing at your heart, begging for help. The eyes seem to be the main portal of emotion by which Erica Meuser’s ink and charcoal drawings depict the very
essence of humanity.
